Lompoc Valley Soap Works is a family owned home based business. We started selling our handmade soaps in 2007. We can be found selling our soap and bath items throughout the year at various markets and fairs in the local area.

We make our natural soaps by hand with custom recipes you wont find anywhere else. We use more than just a few basic ingredients, including exotic butters, nurturing oils and diverse additives. With a line-up including handmade soaps, scrubs, balms, body butters and much more, you can be sure all are created using the highest quality ingredients.

We make soap using cold process. Cold Process soap is created with out the addition of heat. It relies on the exothermic reaction to saponify. This method produces what some think as the 'most nourishing' because you are not exposing the oils to extreme heat, damaging the nutritional values. The soap is then cooled, the botanicals and fragrance or essential oils are kneaded into the soap and it is pressed into molds and allowed to mellow for several days. We unmold the soap and hand cut it into bars. The soap ages and dries for 4 to 6 weeks before it is packaged and prepared for sale.

Our family tests and uses all of our soaps and moisturizing products on a daily basis. Our soaps gently remove the soil leaving your skin soft and smooth. Once you've tried our soaps, you will never want to use manufactured soap again.
